Summary
We're seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help deliver reliable, high-quality software through thoughtful testing strategies and scalable automation. You'll play a key role in ensuring product quality by designing automated test solutions, validating complex systems, and working closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical skills with curiosity, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated testing systems and frameworks.
- Create, execute, and automate comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and data integrity testing.
- Investigate defects, debug issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Review product and technical requirements to ensure they are testable and clearly defined.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, and QA Engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and testing processes.
- Prioritize testing efforts based on risk, severity, and release timelines.
- Generate testing reports and proactively communicate quality metrics and results.
Core Requirements
- 6+ years of experience testing modern software applications across the full technology stack.
- Strong experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
- Proficiency with at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
- Solid experience testing Web Service APIs.
- Hands-on experience with one or more testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, NUnit, xUnit, or TestNG.
- Experience working with document databases such as MongoDB.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Experience working with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Experience working with Kafka.
