Key Responsibilities:

Translate product and design requirements into actionable technical tasks, owning feature delivery end-to-end through to production deployment.

Architect, build, and maintain resilient, well-tested native Android applications in Kotlin.

Design robust network layers, caching strategies, and offline-first workflows for seamless operation under varying network conditions.

Integrate third-party SDKs, hardware capabilities, and RESTful or GraphQL APIs in close collaboration with backend engineering teams.

Build modern, responsive UI interfaces using Jetpack Compose while maintaining high performance and smooth animation frame rates.

Participate in technical design reviews, set Android engineering and testing standards, and leverage AI-assisted development tools throughout the development lifecycle.
Core Requirements:

7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with the vast majority dedicated to native Android development in production environments.

Hands-on experience taking products from 0-1, taking greenfield concepts from initial setup through architecture and launch.

Mastery of Kotlin, asynchronous programming with Kotlin Coroutines, and reactive state management using Flow.

Deep understanding of Android architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI), Android Jetpack components, and dependency injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger.

Hands-on experience building pixel-perfect UIs with Jetpack Compose and Material Design guidelines.

Proven track record of writing clean, testable code using JUnit, Mock, and Espresso or Compose Test.

Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, GitHub Actions), automated app packaging, and Google Play Console deployment processes.

AI-forward mindset with active use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate delivery.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
