Apply for the Senior Android Engineer

Kake is building a pipeline of Senior Android Engineers for upcoming opportunities with our partners, including companies working on large-scale consumer applications, platform modernization, and modern Android product development.
 
We’re looking to connect with experienced Android engineers who have strong foundations in native Android development and have worked on complex production codebases involving architecture, performance, maintainability, and long-term product evolution. This includes engineers who are comfortable building modern Android applications with Kotlin, Jetpack libraries, and contemporary UI patterns such as Jetpack Compose.
 
What we typically look for
Several years of native Android development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and solid Java foundations
Experience working on production Android applications at scale
Good understanding of Android architecture patterns such as MVVM or similar
Experience with Coroutines, Flows, Jetpack libraries, and maintainable app design
Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams
Experience with codebase modernization, refactoring, or long-term maintainability improvements
 
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose in production
Experience with large or legacy Android codebases
Exposure to Java-to-Kotlin migration initiatives
Focus on app stability, scalability, and performance
Experience contributing to long-term architecture decisions
Experience building polished user-facing mobile experiences
