Apply for the Senior Brand Designer (Web)

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Designer to lead a full refresh of our visual identity and website experience. This role sits at the intersection of brand, product, and marketing - shaping how our brand is expressed and experienced across the web. You’ll work closely with leadership to evolve our brand, modernize our web presence, and define and execute a cohesive, high-performing website.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead a refresh of Kake's visual identity and overall brand expression

• Redesign our website experience (structure, layout, user flow)

• Translate brand into a scalable design system across web and product surfaces

• Design with a focus on clarity, usability, and conversion

• Collaborate with marketing to align design with content strategy and messaging

 

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in brand, web, or product design

• Portfolio demonstrating:

  • Website redesigns and high-performing landing pages

  • Brand identity work or brand refreshes

  • Ability to establish creative direction and evolve an existing brand, not just execute against predefined guidelines

• Strong understanding of:

  • Typography, spacing, and visual systems

  • UX flows and user journeys

  • Conversion-focused design principles

• Experience at early-stage or scaling startups

• Design agency background

• Experience designing modern, interactive web experiences (motion a plus)

• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business positioning into compelling visual direction

• Experience working with AI, developer-focused, or technical brands is a plus

• Experience collaborating with content and marketing teams is a plus

Additional Details

• Contract: Short-term (estimated 2-4 months, depending on scope)

• Potential for extension based on needs
